The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) has launched a consultation, open from 9 July to 17 September 2026, on new rules governing law firms that use or arrange third-party litigation funding. The proposals aim to strengthen consumer protection by enhancing transparency, preserving lawyers' independence, managing conflicts of interest, and improving oversight of litigation funding arrangements.
