The First Representative Action under Article 80 UK GDPR Proceeds to Trial

Representative actions continue to expand beyond competition law in the United Kingdom. In a recent judgment, the High Court refused to strike out the first representative action brought under Article 80 of the UK General Data Protection Regulation, allowing the proceedings to continue to trial.
